Jim King, His Family, and His Ministry

Jim and Pam King have been involved in full-time ministry since 1976. In addition to their calling of evangelism, they have been active in overseas evangelism, church planting and development, and humanitarian relief.

For more than twenty years, the Kings, have traveled to the nations ministering in evangelistic crusades, leadership training conferences, retreats and services.

The ministry the Lord has entrusted to the Kings has taken them to places such as Brazil, Cuba, Russia, Siberia, Ukraine, South Korea, China, Israel, Romania, India, North Korea, Turkey and many others. Their overseas ministry is focused on church planting. Recently, JKM has been focused on establishing orphanages as a powerful way to meet needs and present the Gospel.

A particular compassion, as well as outreach emphasis, has been directed toward the nation of Ukraine. The Kings have spent considerable time living among and ministering to the people of the former Soviet nation. In addition to meeting the spiritual needs of people, the Kings are active in providing medical supplies and equipment. Since going to Ukraine, many large containers of medical supplies have been given to the Ukrainians. The Kings established the Ukrainian humanitarian fund, Reach the Children, which is registered with the government of Ukraine. Assistance has also been given to North Korea. Humanitarian relief enables the local churches to impact their community in a tangible way.

Another facet of their ministry has been to mobilize pastors, Bible school students and lay people in missions and outreach. The Kings have led scores of ministry teams from local churches across America on international crusades and conferences to Russia, Ukraine, and China. The ministry has established over 250 Bible schools and assisted in planting scores of churches throughout eastern Europe.

The Kings reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and enjoy time together as a family with their two children, Drew and Natalie.

Yulia Nikishenko

Yulia Nikishenko has been working with Jim King ministries since 1995. As a student at the linguistics University of Kiev, she was invited to work as an interpreter with one of our ministry teams. During that first trip, she gave her life to Jesus. When she graduated from University she began working as an interpreter in the Children's Ministry department of CBN.

After the birth of her son, Matthew, in October 1998, she came back to work with us as we were launching our Bible school program in Ukraine. She is now our Kiev office manager and oversees the Bible school program for Ukraine and Russia.

On Easter day, 2000, her husband Sasha was saved. Since then, Sasha's mother and step-father have both received Jesus. Yulia said, "I really enjoy what I am doing. Jim and Pam's ministry helps local churches to fulfill their vision of spreading the Word of God and disciplining nations."

Yulia has been given primary oversight of establishing the new orphanage in Kahovka.

Dmitry (Dima) Kushkov
Dima has managed the Kiev office and does and excellent job with the Bible school program. Over the years this has been a huge job, as there have been over 260 Bible schools started through our team's efforts.
